Information on non-operating companies
Pursuant to the provisions of Decree 1068 of 2020, commercial companies subject to the supervision of the Superintendence of Companies that do not renew their commercial registration for a term of three (3) years or that do not send the information required by said Superintendence during the same term, will be presumed as non-operational and may be declared as dissolved, unless otherwise demonstrated by them.
Purification of records
Pursuant to Article 31 of Law 1727 of 2014, natural persons, legal entities and commercial establishments, which have not renewed the commercial registration or their registration in the last five (5) years, will be purged from the registry in which they are registered: Legal persons: companies or entities, will be dissolved and in a state of liquidation. Natural persons and commercial establishments will have their commercial registration cancelled.
As a consequence of the above, once the registration has been purged, the benefits and/or advantages of being correctly formalized and in compliance with the legal duties will be lost.
