The region of Bogota and Cundinamarca is the economic and business center of the country. It is home to 32% of the total number of companies in Colombia. In 2023, the total number of registered and renewed companies in Bogota and the 59 municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in the department of Cundinamarca reached 495.981 companies. This section presents the analysis of the behavior of active, created, renewed and cancelled companies and compares it with the three previous years. In each section you will find the business figures according to the location of the companies, their size, economic sector, location in Bogota and legal nature.

Active companies

87.5% of the companies active in the CCB between January - December 2025 are located in Bogota.

Created companies
