Entrepreneurship program for universities
Promoting entrepreneurship in the academic community

General program information
We promote entrepreneurship and innovation within the academic community. In collaboration with universities and institutions of higher education (HEIs), this program fosters young people’s interest in entrepreneurship and the application of research, innovation, technology, and knowledge to new businesses. Our goal is to facilitate the creation of sustainable companies with sophisticated products and services and to support HEIs in strengthening their entrepreneurship and innovation centers.
What do we offer?
Support for Entrepreneurs: Under this line, university entrepreneurs can access Innovalab services such as the Bogotá Cundinamarca Emprende route, the Future Startups incubator, Innovalab Tech Accelerator, and capital raising, according to their entrepreneurship base and level of development.
Strengthening of Universities: Aimed at HEIs with entrepreneurship and innovation processes in development, it strengthens the capabilities of management and teaching teams and supports the consolidation of their offices or entrepreneurship centers.
Articulation with the Ecosystem: Facilitates valuable connections with other HEIs, startups, corporations and the ecosystem. It provides visibility to both the projects developed in the HEIs, as well as their programs, in spaces of connection, validation and recognition such as those generated at the Gofest.
To whom is it directed?
Public and private universities and institutions of higher education (HEIs) operating within the CCB’s jurisdiction that are interested in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation within their academic community. Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, administrators, and administrative staff.
Spaces for participation
Activities and events to promote entrepreneurial mentality and culture: developed in conjunction with universities and higher education institutions, in their facilities or those of the CCB, providing training and information spaces and facilitating current topics, methodological tools and cases that promote the entrepreneurial spirit and provide current information on entrepreneurship and innovation.
Open Innovation Bootcamp 3DE: developed within the scope of Gofest, it is a collaborative work and co-creation space, in which, for three days, students from different universities and disciplines work in search of solutions with the potential to be innovative and market-oriented business ideas, which solve corporate challenges, while strengthening soft skills and the entrepreneurial spirit. Students live the experience of creating a solution to real challenges with the potential to become a business and accessing support to move it forward.
Sample Future Giants: developed in the field of Gofest, is a unique exhibition that brings together the most promising startups in the early stage, those that already have a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) and are ready to conquer the market. This space is a scenario of constant validation, where entrepreneurial people interact with potential clients, receive feedback and establish strategic connections.
Access to Innovalab CCB services: the possibility of accessing the Bogotá Cundinamarca Emprende route, the Futuras Startups incubator, Innovalab Tech Accelerator, and capital raising. Entrepreneurs receive guidance for structuring their business model, brand, commercial and sales strategies, guidance on financial aspects, legal and tax aspects, as well as access to content and information and the possibility of participating in events to connect with other entrepreneurs, business people and the ecosystem.
