If you do not have a commercial registration, either as a natural or legal person, you expose yourself to sanctions by inspection, control and surveillance entities and the Superintendence of Corporations (Article 37 of the Code of Commerce and Article 11 of Decree 2153 of 1992).
On the other hand, by not registering your business, another company could use the same name, generating problems of unfair competition and affecting your clientele. Keep in mind that the registration of the name of your establishment or company is different from the registration of your trademark.
