Analysis
Companies of natural persons represent the highest percentage (53.7%) of renewed companies in Bogota and the 59 municipalities of the CCB, between January - December 2024. In January-December 2024 in Bogota and the 59 municipalities of the CCB's jurisdiction, the total number of renewed companies of natural persons increased by 0.3% and companies of legal persons by 2.7% compared to the same period of 2023.
Description
The Commercial Register of the Chambers of Commerce of Colombia registers the facts and acts relating to individual entrepreneurs and commercial companies, in order to publicize them so that they may be known by the persons who contract with them. Every year merchants register, renew or liquidate their companies and establishments before the chamber of commerce of their jurisdiction.
