We received the Seal of Good Innovation Practices – NTC 5801 from ICONTEC, in recognition of the adoption of practices that systematically integrate innovation into institutional management. This is a sign of the CCB's commitment to institutional strengthening and the generation of value for the business community of Bogotá and Cundinamarca through innovative management.

This award, presented in Cartagena (September 4), highlights the CCB's excellence and leadership in promoting innovative technologies for smart, efficient, and sustainable cities.

The Colombian Commission for Self-Regulation of Commercial Communication audited and validated the results of the self-assessment process for the 2024 Responsible Commercial Communication Footprint and certifies that the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce has complied with the eight principles, demonstrating good sustainability practices through ethical and responsible communication.

In 2025, the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce adopted the Colombian Technical Standard NTC 5906:2012, Conciliation and/or Arbitration Centers - General Service Requirements, endorsed by Icontec. The implementation of this standard strengthens institutional management and guarantees more efficient and reliable services.

Since 2001 we adopted the ISO 9001-2015 Standard, endorsed by Icontec, optimizing the Quality Management Systems, offering a portfolio of services according to the needs of the business sector, raising the quality of all our company processes, improving the satisfaction and perception of the internal and external public.

For our leadership in innovation issues and the support provided to entrepreneurship initiatives in Bogota and the Region, in 2016 we received the 'Example of Bogota Entrepreneurship Promotion' Award, given by the digital news portal Politika, which highlighted our work in promoting national entrepreneurship.

Recognition awarded in 2016 by the Colombian Agency for Reintegration - ACR-, thanks to the unconditional contribution made by the CCB to improve the living conditions of people in the process of reintegration, ratifying our social commitment to citizenship.

In 2015, the European Institute of Social Capital granted this recognition to the CCB, highlighting its organizational, labor and social culture. This certification seeks to balance corporate interests with the concerns of the companies' employees, establishing a quality standard in Life Balance practices.

In compliance with international standards for the professional practice of Internal Auditing, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) granted us an international certification, being the first Chamber of Commerce in Colombia to achieve this recognition, promoting in the country the importance of Internal Auditing in organizations.


We are part of the Global Compact, the largest voluntary corporate social responsibility initiative in the world, with more than 13 thousand entities in more than 170 countries; contributing to the solution of situations related to human rights, labor standards, environment and the fight against corruption, focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


Our Arbitration and Conciliation Center was appointed by the Inter-American Commercial Arbitration Commission (CIAC), as its representative in Colombia (National Section), thus contributing to the specialized and effective solution of commercial situations and disputes at the business level.

In the Large Company category, our website received the Colombia Award in recognition of its quality and innovation. This award was granted by the Colombian Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (CCIT), in alliance with El Tiempo and the Online Government Program in 2011.

The CCB, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), created the Association of Registrars of Latin America and the Caribbean (Asorlac), a non-profit organization that facilitates the exchange of information on registry systems, in cooperation with other international organizations. The CCB is currently the legal representative of this association.


2008
In a study where more than 1,000 business people from Colombia participated, the newspaper Portafolio chose us as the fourth best institution in customer service in the country, placing us among the 10 best managed companies in the national territory; highlighting our marketing strategy, social contribution and quality service.


We received the Ibero-American Quality Award in the Gold category: Large Private Company, thanks to excellence in management, generating a quality environment to promote new businesses, spaces and commercial and investment opportunities.

Maximum award from the National Government to companies or entities that stand out for having international-class management systems.


In Durban, South Africa, we were awarded the World Chambers of Commerce Award, thanks to our model of simplification of procedures for the creation of companies, being a national and international reference for our good practices.


The Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism highlighted the CCB as one of the five entities that have most promoted entrepreneurship in recent years in the country. This distinction endorses our mission of providing various support strategies.


The Hermes program, a CCB initiative, was ranked as the second best experience in social innovation in South America, contributing to the generation of new strategies for the management and prevention of school conflict.


For its contribution to the generation of new businesses in strategic sectors that contribute to the economic development of the city, our subsidiary Invest in Bogota was awarded first place in investment promotion agencies in developing countries.


Corferias became the first Latin American member of the Union of International Fairs (UFI), and a founding member of the Association of Latin American Fairs (AFIDA), due to its track record in the organization of fairs, exhibitions, events and conventions, generating new spaces for business and commercial exchanges.


Our subsidiary received the High Quality Accreditation granted to the dual Business Administration program by the National Accreditation Council (CNA) and the Ministry of Education, recognizing its work, organization and operation, as well as the fulfillment of its social work.

We were recognized as one of the 100 high-tech companies in the country by IT Manager magazine, thanks to the innovation implemented in all processes, through the use of technological tools; a fact that placed us in sixth place in this ranking.


Our Salitre headquarters received from the Federation of Real Estate Professions (Fiabci), the award for Best Corporate Construction, thanks to its design and construction, being an intelligent and green building, which provides modernism and promotes environmental care.
