Juan Esteban Orrego Calle, born in Medellín, is business administrator from EAFIT University and has more than 35 years of experience in the business and union sector. He began his union career at FENALCO in 2000, as a representative of the Textiles and Clothing sector. In 2003 he was delegate of the Board National of FENALCO before the Board of Directors of FENALCO Bogotá and, in In 2010, he assumed the executive direction of FENALCO Bogotá Cundinamarca, a position that He practiced for 16 years.

From this position he led initiatives to defend the interests of merchants, promote business development and strengthen the articulation between the private sector and public institutions.
