Multidimensional Poverty Index in Bogota and Cundinamarca 2019 - 2021

Analysis

Between 2020 and 2021, the WPI for Bogota was reduced by 1.8 percentage points. Likewise, between 2019 and 2021 it was also reduced by 1.5 percentage points. In 2021, Bogota closed the year with 444 thousand people in multidimensional poverty. This represented a reduction of 138 thousand people compared to 2020 and 93 thousand people less than in 2019.

Between 2020 and 2021 the MPI of Cundinamarca was reduced by 2.0 and percentage points. Likewise, between 2019 and 2021 it also decreased 2.9 percentage points.
