Vision

In 2038 the student community of Bogota will have the necessary competencies to undertake successful training processes at the levels of higher education and education for work and human development.

Mission

Articulate public and private actors to align technical, social, scientific and economic efforts in a framework of co-responsibility, with the objective of facilitating the transit and graduation of students from Bogota to higher education and education for work and human development.

Description

The alliance between the Secretariat of Education and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce to implement and consolidate the District Higher Education Subsystem through a management plan is divided as follows:

• Consolidate the subsystem as a scenario for public-private consultation on strategic issues for education in Bogota.

• Design and implementation of the Agency for Higher Education, Science and Technology.

• Activate three collaborative action networks with the linkage of actors and initiatives that are being implemented in the city to strengthen synergies.

• Bring the educational community and the productive sector closer together to strengthen vocational guidance, relevance and access to higher education.
