Analysis

The predominant use in Bogotá is residential (58%) and in the 20 neighboring municipalities (63%). This is followed in Bogota by 12% for equipment use and in the 20 municipalities by 14% for logistics and industrial use. Regarding the latter, between 2010 and 2016, 1,387 ha of industry were built, of which 60 % are concentrated in the municipalities of Cota, Funza, Mosquera and Tocancipá.

Description

The study of growth and evolution of the Urban Footprint for the municipalities that make up the Bogota Region analyzes, among other things, the data on hectares of occupied land, in relation to population, public space, housing, and facilities, in order to generate growth scenarios for 2050 that will allow decisions to be made on land use planning.
