In the second half of 2025, there was a change in the average number of trips and monthly tons transported from Bogotá and Cundinamarca to the rest of the country:
Bogotá: The number of trips increased from 83,638 in 2024 to 87,118 in 2025, while the volume of tons transported decreased from 587,419 to 582,750 in the same period. As a result, the ratio of average tons per trip went from 7.02 to 6.69.
Cundinamarca: There was an increase in trips, from 186,591 to 203,089, along with an increase in the number of tons moved from 1,822,086 to 1,879,106. However, the ratio of tons per trip decreased from 9.77 to 9.25.
On the other hand, in the same period, there was a variation in trips and tons transported from the rest of the country to Bogotá and Cundinamarca:
Bogotá: The number of trips increased from 117,510 in 2024 to 124,738 in 2025, while the number of tons transported grew from 1,029,559 to 1,091,074. However, the ratio of average tons per trip decreased from 8.76 to 8.75.
Cundinamarca: There was an increase in trips from 128,441 to 141,158, as well as in the number of tons transported from 1,700,349 to 1,789,401. As a result, the ratio of tons per trip decreased from 13.24 to 12.68.
