Cargo transport collisions

Analysis

Between January and December 2025, a significant decrease was recorded in the total number of collisions in Bogotá, while in Cundinamarca the figure increased, according to data from the National Road Safety Agency.

  • In Bogotá, the number of freight-related collisions decreased by 35.4%, dropping from 506 cases in 2024 to 327 in 2025. The category with the highest share was motorcycle users (65.4%), followed by bicycle users and pedestrians (11.0%).

  • In Cundinamarca, freight-related collisions increased by 27.5%, rising from 327 cases in 2024 to 417 in 2025. The category with the highest share was motorcycle users (47.0%), followed by private vehicle users (21.1%) and passenger vehicle users (12.0%).

Description

This indicator concentrates the information related to the different road actors (motorcyclists, drivers, pedestrians, among others) with figures of victims in traffic accidents involving cargo vehicles in Bogota and Cundinamarca.
