In the period January - July 2022, the average speed in km/h increased in Bogota and Cundinamarca. According to data from the Observatorio de Movimiento de Carga de larga, media y corta distancia de la Universidad de La Sabana, for the month of July 2022, the average speed in Bogota went from 16.9 km/h in 2021 to 24.9 km/h in 2022. Meanwhile, in the case of Cundinamarca, the average speed increased from 25.5 km/h in 2021 to 40.5 km/h in 2022. During July 2022, in Bogota, the best speed performance was 35.3 km/h average at 2 a.m., reporting a valley of 20.1 km/h average operating speed at 6 p.m. For the case of Cundinamarca, the best speed performance was 50.5 km/h sustained average between 0 a.m., reporting an average operating speed valley of 36.6 km/h at 4:00 p.m. In Bogotá, the localities with the highest average operating speed are: Usme (32.37 km/h), Teusaquillo (31.42 km/h), Antonio Nariño (30.76 km/h), Suba (28.44 km/h) and Barios Unidos (28.03 km/h). While the localities with lower speed are mainly: San Cristóbal (13.65 km/h), Bosa (14.99 km/h), Chapinero (17.74 km/h) and Usaquén (21.62 km/h).
