Project Status Analysis — Cutoff Date: Septiembre 27, 2026

The information presented corresponds to the cutoff date of September 27, 2026. As of this date, the portfolio includes 81 contracts across all stages and procurement methods, of which 50 are in the Construction stage. Of the 50 contracts in the construction phase, 28 are currently underway, 18 have been completed, 2 remain suspended, and 2 have been declared expired. By contracting entity, the IDU accounts for the majority of contracts currently under construction with 43, followed by the ANI with 3, the EFR with 3, and the EMB with 1. Notable strategic projects include the TransMilenio trunk lines along Avenida Ciudad de Cali and Avenida 68, as well as Phases II and III to Soacha; the First Line of the Bogotá Metro; the Regiotram de Occidente; the Carrera Séptima Green Corridor; the urban enhancement projects; and Calle 13.

Projects in the Study and Design Phase

As for the 31 contracts in the study and design, feasibility, pre-feasibility, comprehensive structuring, comprehensive evaluation, and prequalification phases, the breakdown is as follows: the study and design phase accounts for 16 contracts, of which 14 have already been completed and 2 are currently underway (New Suba–Cota Road and CL 80 Interchange); feasibility studies account for 6 contracts, with 5 currently underway (Line 3 of the Bogotá Metro, Tibanica Vehicle Bridge, CL 63 Extension to Devisab, La Calera–Cable San Rafael Connection, and La Sabana Perimeter Road) and 1 completed (New La Calera Connection); Comprehensive structuring has 3 contracts, 1 currently underway (Northern Regiotram) and 2 completed; pre-feasibility reports 3 contracts, 2 currently underway (Transmilenio Phase IV Soacha and ALO Centro) and 1 completed (Second Line of the Bogotá Metro — Suba-Engativá Extension); the prequalification stage includes 1 contract currently underway, corresponding to the Second Line of the Bogotá Metro; and the comprehensive evaluation stage includes 2 contracts currently underway, corresponding to MB06—Extension of the PLMB to Calle 100 and AC80—Expansion of Calle 80. By contracting entity at this stage, the IDU leads with 19 contracts, followed by the EMB with 5, the EFR with 2, and the ANI, the ARM–Bogotá-Cundinamarca Metropolitan Region/FDN, the ICCU, the ARM–IDU, and OTHERS with 1 contract each. Note: Unlike the previous update, in this update the VA23 contract — Pedestrian Bridge at Calle 112 and Carrera 9 (IDU-2314-2024) has moved from the Studies and Design phase to the Construction phase (status: In Progress), which increases the number of contracts in the Construction phase from 49 to 50 and reduces the number in the Studies and Design phase from 32 to 31.

The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce is monitoring 31 mobility infrastructure projects in Bogotá and the surrounding region, which involve 81 contracts at various stages of implementation: studies and design, feasibility, pre-feasibility, pre-construction, and construction.
