Silver Economy Program for Business

The elderly segment in Bogota represents 14% of the population, with Usaquén, Suba, Engativá and Kennedy as the most relevant localities. In municipalities such as Fusagasugá, the elderly segment represents 30% of the population. It is estimated that by 2030, one (1) of every six (6) people in the world will be 60 years old or older (WHO).

Within this context, it is relevant to know how to understand this population segment for the generation of innovative businesses that, at the same time, result in the welfare of the elderly and their caregivers.

With this program we will develop services to strengthen entrepreneurial skills to identify new business opportunities, participation in valuable contact spaces and fairs, specialized conferences, mentoring and entrepreneurship for the elderly.

Entrepreneurs from all clusters can participate in this program.
