Water and Circular Economy

This initiative led by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce seeks to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector through the development of projects that offer innovative solutions to the challenges of water security and the development of sustainable business models in Bogota and Cundinamarca to contribute to the construction of a sustainable and resilient future for the territory.

This cluster will develop initiatives that improve business capabilities and human talent, fostering innovation and creating spaces for connection between companies, academia, government, social and community actors related to the integrated management of water resources and integrated waste management.

The Water and Circular Economy Cluster Initiative is made up of :

• Around 5,000 companies related to integrated water and waste management.

• 29 community aqueducts that provide drinking water services to rural inhabitants of the city and 134 in Cundinamarca.

• More than 380 waste pickers' organizations that bring together 21,650 waste pickers.
