Music

The Music Cluster Initiative was created by the CCB in 2015 with the purpose of positioning Bogota as the “Music City” of Latin America, turning it into an important music and music business center with an emphasis on recorded and live music, city events and the development of a nightlife Bogota.

The Cluster seeks to differentiate itself by the diversity and quality of its human talent, the production and circulation of musical content to become a business center that will be an engine of economic, social and cultural development of the city.

The initiative is integrated by actors that are part of the music industry: performers, artists, managers, authors, record labels, music producers, venues, festivals, specialized media, government entities, collecting societies, event producers and academia.

We have a work plan which involves the development of actions in four strategic pillars, namely: i) Innovation and new businesses; ii) Human talent and employment; iii) Sustainability; iv) Internationalization and attraction of foreign investment
