Printing and Packaging Cluster

The Printing and Packaging Cluster Initiative was established in 2013 with the aim of positioning Bogota as a leader in Latin America in terms of quality and compliance in the design and production of print, packaging and labels.

This cluster stands out for its focus on the integration of paper with information and communication technologies (ICT), new digital platforms for the dissemination of content and design as a factor of innovation to access new markets.

Likewise, it is an agenda that seeks to identify and address the main bottlenecks that limit the competitiveness of the cluster, through the articulation of relevant actors such as businessmen, entrepreneurs, universities and government.

Thus, this initiative encompasses a wide range of economic activities related to the production of printed matter, packaging, containers and labels, using various materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, bioplastics, glass and starch.
