The agency of a company

An agency is a type of commercial establishment opened by a corporation, where its corporate activities or part of them are carried out. It is registered in the Chamber of Commerce with jurisdiction in the place where the activity will be developed. The administrator of the agency does not have the capacity to legally represent the company. It functions as an operative extension that depends on the main office for important decisions and legal acts.

Before opening the agency, verify the following information:

Make sure that the name you wish to use is not already registered. Verify if there is homonymy through the page of the Registro Único Empresarial y Social. Identify the ISIC Codes that describe the economic activity to be developed. You must classify between 1 and 4 codes. If you have doubts, check with specialized personnel of the CCB. Check here.
