Formalize your company

We know that entrepreneurship is a very important choice for you and your family, we understand that you know the business, but sometimes you know little or nothing about how to be a business manager. For this reason, the CCB has created the Business Formalization Program in order to accompany you in achieving your dreams, thus increasing the likelihood of success. We invite you to strengthen your business, to prepare yourself to compete in the market, generating greater opportunities, better connections with other entrepreneurs, with more and better sales. In the CCB we understand formalization as the exercise of an economic activity under the rules of the State, for us it is a process of economic inclusion that allows your company to grow, be a supplier to other companies, reach other markets, obtain credit, access to all Business Strengthening services offered by the entity and participate in various financial programs of government entities.

As part of the growth program for business formalization of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), we make personalized visits to commercial establishments in the different localities of Bogota and in the municipalities of our jurisdiction.

During our visit, you can learn about the benefits of having a formal business, we can advise you on how to sell more in your business and invite you to join the growth program for formalization, with which you can have a personalized support from a business consultant to help you with new ideas or tools to boost the growth of your business.

Additionally, we can learn how to help you by conducting a survey that we apply to all the establishments we visit and with which we can generate new and better services for you as an entrepreneur.

Our CCB advisors:

1. They explain the benefits of formality and provide advice to increase the sales level of the business.

2. They explain and support you in the process of registering your company with the CCB.

3. They inform you about the business strengthening services that the CCB offers free of charge.

4. They survey you to know the degree of formality in which you are and from this, offer you services that promote the growth of your business.

Keep in mind that they will never, under any circumstances, ask you to pay any money to complete the process before the CCB. In some cases, they may summon you to one of the branches to advise you on the completion of your registration and only at the authorized cashier's office will the respective payment be collected, if applicable.

How to identify them?

• The counselor will present him or herself, indicating his or her name and carrying the official ID card that identifies him or her as part of the CCB program.

• They always, without exception, carry a letter (physical or digital) signed by the program management.

• They wear a black jacket with CCB logos.

• Visiting hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please note that, in addition to the above mentioned features, you can always call the immediate response line 3830330 option 2 where, with the ID number of the advisor, it is possible to validate the name of the advisor.

As part of the development of the Growth Strategy for Business Formalization and Regional Competitiveness led by the Chambers of Commerce of Barranquilla, Bogota, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena and Medellin, with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank and the Multilateral Investment Fund, we were able to prepare documents on the importance of focusing on business growth and the natural effect it produces in terms of formalization, as a complement to the traditional approach that has addressed it directly.
