Bogota, July 31, 2023. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) has advanced in record time in its strategy to connect with entrepreneurs in the 59 municipalities of Cundinamarca where it has jurisdiction. With 11,378 clients benefited by the Mobile Chamber and the different regional fairs, the entity has achieved 95% of its goal at the beginning of the year to benefit 12,000 businessmen and now raises its bet to impact 8,000 more businessmen in the region in the remainder of 2023.

The commitment to get closer to entrepreneurs has been possible thanks to the entry into operation of two new vans for a total of four units (three vans and a bus) of the Mobile Chamber, from which advisory services, consulting, access to strengthening programs and certificates, among others, are provided and which are responsible for traveling throughout the region on a daily basis.

With the Mobile Chamber, the entity has improved its productivity and has carried out 212 visits (16% more than in 2022) of the 350 scheduled for the year for the different municipalities in the region and localities of the capital, for a progress of 70.6% over the planned. Of these visits, 205 have taken place in the 59 municipalities in the CCB's jurisdiction, and seven of them in the different localities of Bogota. There are plans to carry out more than 150 visits in Cundinamarca during the second half of the year, maintaining the pace of support to entrepreneurs.

It is important to point out that the planning of these visits by the Chamber is carried out on a monthly basis, taking into account the municipalities that have been prioritized in the Cundinamarca Integration Plan - PIC -, their business concentration, the requirements of the different municipal mayors' offices, and the business dynamics of the business fabric of each municipality, among other factors, being consistent with putting the businessman at the center of what we do and articulating with government entities to provide the best services in each jurisdiction.

María Isabel Vega, Customer Relationship Manager of the CCB, stated that "We have been transforming the CCB to be an entity close to entrepreneurs, connecting them with the best offer for the growth of their businesses and taking into account the specific needs of each municipality and locality. Our purpose is to improve the experience of our entrepreneurs through strengthened channels such as the Mobile Chamber and the opening of business spaces such as regional fairs".

Precisely, the CCB's participation in regional fairs has boosted its strategy of connecting with the different municipalities in the region because of the total of seven fairs held during the year, six correspond to municipalities within its jurisdiction (Tocancipá, Medina, Sesquilé, Tenjo, Fusagasugá and Sibaté) and one of them to the town of Suba, in Bogotá. The entity plans to continue participating in these fairs to reach Guasca in July; Tocancipá in August; Cota in September; Gachetá in October; Soacha in November; Fómeque and Chía in December; and an additional day to be defined in the municipality of Silvania.

These activities are expected to meet the requirements of close to 20 thousand entrepreneurs in Bogota and the region in total during the year. At the same time, the CCB is permanently present in the region with offices in Fusagasugá, to serve the businessmen of the Sumapaz province; the office on the Chía - Cajicá road, the one in Zipaquirá and a point of attention in Ubaté, which serve the needs of the businessmen of Sabana Centro, and the one in Soacha for the provinces of Soacha and Sibaté. In addition, it recently inaugurated the first Digital Experience and Learning Center in Cazucá, which has an impact on the people of Cazucá, Soacha and nearby towns such as Ciudad Bolívar and Bosa.
