PROVINCE OF GUAVIO
The province of Guavio borders the city of Bogotá on the eastern side. It is made up of eight municipalities: Gachalá, Gama, Guasca, Guatavita, Junín, La Calera, Ubalá and Gachetá; the latter is the capital of the province, it has great potential for ecological and scientific tourism because it has natural areas considered of world interest, one of the highest water production and biodiversity.

PROVINCE OF UBATÉ
The province of Ubaté is located in the north of the department; the provincial capital is Ubaté. It is the seventh province in territorial extension, with 1,408 km². It is made up of 10 municipalities: Carmen de Carupa, Cucunubá, Fúquene, Guachetá, Lenguazaque, Simijaca, Susa, Sutatausa, Tausa and Ubaté, predominantly pasture lands that within the agricultural classification are classified as suitable for livestock. The topography corresponds to flat lands and ravines.
PROVINCE OF CENTRAL SABANA
Sabana Centro is a province of the department of Cundinamarca whose capital is the municipality of Zipaquirá, which was created by Ordinance 023 of 1998, which establishes the current division of the department of Cundinamarca into 15 provinces. Located in the center of the department, it is crossed from north to south by the Bogotá River. In its territory there are salt mines in the municipalities of Nemocón, Sesquilé and Zipaquirá; Zipaquirá being the best known, both mines are dedicated to tourism. The territory of the current province was populated in pre-Hispanic times by the Muisca Indians. Much of the territory is located on the Sabana de Bogotá.
PROVINCE OF SOACHA
The province is located in the center of the department, in the southern part of the Bogotá Savannah, it is surrounded by the mountains of the natural regions of Tequendama and Sumapaz whose rivers flow into the Bogotá River as the Muña, El Soacha and Aguas Claras. In the middle of the province is the Muña Reservoir and wetlands such as the Tierra Blanca-Neuta-El Vínculo system, which in the past was a lagoon.
PROVINCE OF ALMEIDAS
The province of Almeidas is located in the northeast of the department of Cundinamarca. It is bordered on the north by the department of Boyacá and the province of Ubaté; on the south by the province of Guavio; on the east by the department of Boyacá, and on the west by the provinces of Sabana Centro and Ubaté.
The territorial extension of the province is 1,238 km², and represents 5.5% of the total area of the department, which places it as the ninth province in territorial extension of Cundinamarca.
PROVINCE OF MEDINA
The province of Medina is the easternmost province of Cundinamarca, bordering the departments of Boyacá, Casanare and Meta. Its capital is the homonymous town, the municipality of Medina. It is known as "La Puerta del Llano". It is located 192 km east of Bogotá. With an area of 1192 km², Medina is the largest municipality in Cundinamarca. The municipal seat is located at an altitude of 520 m above sea level, and the average annual temperature is 25 ºC.
PROVINCE OF ORIENTE
The Oriente Province is one of the 15 provinces of the department of Cundinamarca (Colombia). Its capital is the municipality of Cáqueza. Just 40 minutes from Bogota is one of the 15 most important areas of Cundinamarca, the Oriente Province, which not only stands out for its incredible landscapes, but also for its history. This jurisdiction is made up of ten municipalities: Une, Chipaque, Ubaque, Choachí, Fómeque, Fosca, Gutiérrez, Quetame, Guayabetal and Cáqueza, the capital of this area, and they are remembered because each of their streets tell stories of the emergence and traditions of this Colombian region.
