The plan

The Bogota Chamber of Commerce is a centenary, private, non-profit institution that operates in Bogota and 59 municipalities in Cundinamarca, to support entrepreneurs, generating value with relevant services that promote a better business environment.

Within the strategies for the economic reactivation of the municipalities of the jurisdiction, we have designed a program that seeks to strengthen entrepreneurship around tourism associated with the uses of bicycles.

From the CCB we will support municipalities and entrepreneurs to reactivate tourism in Cundinamarca and promote the competitiveness of the first department of Colombia by transforming recreational activities into tourist experiences.

We intend to create new segments around this recreational and sporting activity, which will contribute to reactivate tourism and the economy in the region in the following way:

• Identify and validate in the region CCB's area of influence, routes for bicycle tours.

• Identify the tourist consumption offer linked to areas enabled for bicycle tours.

• Identify complementary tourism products: Associate adventure and wellness tourism experiences, in base and alternate zones for the tours, that provide added value to the experience.

• Link travel agencies with operators specialized in bicycle tours that facilitate alliances and collaborative economy processes for the reactivation of the tourism sector.

• Promote with travel agencies the design of specialized tourism packages around the bicycle, which guarantee the consumption of goods and services and tourism experiences in the region.

• Design and implement a strategy for the promotion, positioning and commercialization of tourism products derived from the economic reactivation strategy "Pedaling for Cundinamarca.
