We are sure that these resources and support will not only have an impact on the projects, but will also contribute decisively to entrepreneurship and the economic and social development of Bogota and the region.
Luz Dana Leal Ruiz, Director of Employment, Labor and Entrepreneurship of SENA, stated that "Thanks to this joint work with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, today we are helping these 97 enterprises to meet the objectives proposed in their business plans with a seed capital of up to $93 million, which will generate more than 300 jobs. In this way, we are contributing to achieve social and economic justice and support the development and growth of the popular economy, being a strategic axis sought by the Government of Change".
SENA's Emprender Fund will provide resources to support and accompany these entrepreneurs not only to formulate their business plans but also the process of accreditation of conditions to be beneficiaries, such as the evaluation of the business plans and the implementation of their business initiatives for an additional value of $3,000 million.
In order to strengthen the start-up of the projects, in addition to the support for the implementation of the initiative provided by the SENA, the CCB initiated a work plan for the entrepreneurs to be accompanied by a business consultant from the CCB.
In order to make them visible, the entity also managed the participation of four of them in Startco, the largest high-impact entrepreneurship auction in Latin America, thanks to which they were able to make themselves known to investors, position the brand and make valuable connections with other entrepreneurs, relevant actors in the ecosystem, and potential customers. They will also have access to two days of group counseling for the month of April, on digital marketing and brand registration.
