Bogotá-Cundinamarca starts from a favorable position to strengthen its international presence. According to the Regional Observatory of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, based on information from DANE and DIAN, the region's exports reached US$7,887 million in 2025, a growth of 11.3% compared to 2024, consolidating it as the second exporting region in the country. This performance reflects the region's potential to continue expanding its business offering, attracting investment and generating new business opportunities in international markets.

In this context, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) will hold the Second International Summit and Business Roundtable Bogotá-Cundinamarca on September 23 and 24, under the concept “Global Dynamics: Businesses in Transformation for competitiveness”, a platform that seeks to connect the business capabilities of the region with buyers, investors and international allies.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce stated that "Bogotá-Cundinamarca has companies, talent and capabilities to compete in international markets. Our challenge is to connect that potential with real business and investment opportunities. This Summit is a concrete commitment to open markets, attract capital, strengthen alliances and make the internationalization an engine of growth for our companies and development for the region.”

The agenda will feature more than 600 companies and more than 90 international buyers in a business conference aimed at generating new business opportunities. An Investors Meeting will also be held, which will allow the presentation of investment opportunities and business expansion in Bogotá-Region to international actors.

The Summit will also include an academic agenda on the transformations that are redefining international business, with topics such as artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, sustainability, trade and investment, and will feature experts and guests international.

One of the milestones of the meeting will be the launch of the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Americas (CCCAM), an initiative that seeks to strengthen cooperation between chambers of commerce on the continent and generate new opportunities for trade, investment and internationalization.
