SPEECH OCTOBER 2, 2023 POSSESSION OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF BOGOTÁ

I am grateful for the trust that the Board of Directors has placed in me. Assuming the presidency of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce is, without a doubt, a great honor and a challenge that I face today with enthusiasm and commitment. In my more than 37 years of public and private service, I have had the opportunity to act in the many difficulties that the business sector has faced.

In all these years of work, I have witnessed them and have worked with the purpose of improving opportunities for all. I have been fortunate to work as a teacher in different institutions in the country, in public administration and as a lawyer, among others. It is to this work that I owe the experience with which I can accept this new stage.

I receive the almost 145 years of institutional work with the certainty that from the executive presidency we will be able to contribute to continue growing and supporting all entrepreneurs in the country.
