How can we help you?

Laura Gomez hired Carlos Ramirez, a master builder, to remodel the kitchen and bathroom of her apartment for $25 million. She paid him $20 million in advance, but Carlos abandoned the job before finishing, claiming that the materials had gone up in price and that he needed more money to continue.
Laura refused to pay him the additional amount and is now demanding that he return $8 million for the unfinished work and the damage caused. Carlos, on the other hand, says that he has already invested almost everything in materials and that he does not have to return anything.
Desperate and unable to use her kitchen or bathroom, which were left half-finished, Laura goes to the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce so that a conciliator can help her reach an agreement with Carlos and avoid having to take her case to court, where it could take up to 10 years or more to resolve.
Finally, Laura and Carlos reach an agreement, allowing the work to be completed and the conflict to be resolved.
The CCB Arbitration and Conciliation Center invites them to participate in the 2025 NATIONAL CONCILIATION DAY, a free conciliation event promoted by the Ministry of Justice and Law.
As part of this event, we will provide conciliation services on November 6 and 7.
