How can we help you?

Bogota, August 2023. For more than three years, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce has materialized, in its Sustainability and Shared Value policy, its commitment to promote gender equity, diversity and inclusion approaches, both within and in the business environment.
Based on the results obtained and evidenced bets, it began the process of implementing the Gender Equality Management System (SGIG) under the Equipares Seal, Silver category, granted by the Ministry of Labor and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), which aims to generate changes in labor relations between men and women, particularly those that allow real progress in closing gender gaps.
At the same time, the process for the Aequales certification in gender equity and diversity was carried out, which recognizes the efforts made in favor of equity and diversity in our organization.
Ricardo Nates, president (e) of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, stated that: "These distinctions value the strategies, policies, processes and actions, with which the CCB joins the organizations that transform Latin America from the work spaces. Obtaining these certifications is an achievement that makes visible all the efforts of the Chamber, betting on transforming our entity with a more inclusive internal and external look".
The audits highlighted several of the CCB's programs, including the ReconoSer model, a platform to recognize the good behavior and contributions of the entity's employees; all the quality of life commitments; prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace; care for employees and their families; the platform to train and update the entire team of the Chamber; the benefits and a mentoring program for the LGBTIQ+ community; the inclusive entrepreneurship program that provides a differential service to people with vulnerabilities so that they can have successful business models and which gave rise to the birth of the productive inclusion network; the #SomosUnEquipoDiverso strategy that works on the culture and attributes of male and female collaborators; the mentoring program for women; the 9 boxes and leadership program; the inclusive and unbiased selection processes; the equitable salary scale model; and the Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which is made up of employees and delegates from senior management committed to the transformation of the organization.
Obtaining a rating of 97.5 out of 100 is an achievement that few organizations reach, which motivates the CCB to continue working so that employees develop their work in environments free of discrimination, as well as to inspire the business sector to bet on improving their businesses by incorporating these practices.
Likewise, they ratify the commitment to build a more equitable, diverse and inclusive city-region.
