Transmilenio, Bogota Chamber of Commerce and Casa Editorial El Tiempo changed the name of the station at Calle 26 and 68

07 February 2024Bogotá, febrero 7 de 2023. La Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá (CCB), EL TIEMPO Casa Editorial y Transmilenio le cambiaron el nombre de la estación del Sistema de Transporte Masivo ubicada frente a la Sede y Centro Empresarial Salitre de la CCB. Ahora, es la estación EL TIEMPO – CÁMARA DE COMERCIO BOGOTÁ. Este cambio brinda una mayor visibilidad a la entidad que busca estar más cerca de empresarios y ciudadanos.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, stated that "This fact reaffirms our commitment to promote care, belonging and ownership of the public transportation system, as well as the new approach we have to be a closer entity for entrepreneurs and businessmen. We want them to be strengthened by our services and thus contribute to a more prosperous Bogota Region".

David David Matoses Peraire, general manager of Casa Editorial El Tiempo, said that this corridor of the 26 is key because of its proximity to the airport, the presence of businesses, and it is one of the most important main road corridors in Latin America, which is why he is pleased with this alliance in favor of the competitiveness of Bogota.

María Fernanda Ortiz Carrascal, manager of Transmilenio was pleased with this alliance. She stated that "This is a sign that we can join efforts to enhance the economic and social development of the city. We are confident that these public-private alliances are part of the path to continue improving the service".
