12 September 2022Downtown Bogota will become the stage for music at the Bogota Music Market - BOmm. Visitors will be able to enjoy, free of charge, a rich academic and cultural agenda, and will witness the talent of more than 20 artists.

Today, Monday, September 12, begins the 11th edition of the Bogota Music Market - BOmm, one of the most important music markets in Colombia and Latin America, which has established itself as the meeting point for industry players and the ideal place to generate circulation and marketing opportunities.

In this edition, La Candelaria, in downtown Bogota, will host agents, buyers and artists -a sample of the best of local talent. The stages of the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center, the Colon Theater, the Gilberto Álzate Avendaño Foundation - FUGA and the Colonial Museum will host more than 100 events that make up BOmm 2022.

The venues

The Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center, located at Calle 11 #5-60, will be one of the main venues of BOmm 2022.

In the Rogelio Salmona and Porfirio Barba Jacob auditoriums, as well as in the María Mercedes Carranza and León de Greiff classrooms, will be held the academic section that consists of the BOmm Talks -where national and international professionals from the sector will share their experiences, learnings and predictions about the music industry- and the BOmm Labs -a space for workshops with industry leaders-. The activities, which run from September 12 to 16, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will last until 1:00 p.m. each day.

Likewise, the Commercial Fair will be held at the Mexico Square, a space that brings together entrepreneurs of the music and cultural scene, convened by the BOmm and the Gilberto Álzate Avendaño Foundation - FUGA.

Finally, accreditations will take place at the Macondo Passage.

Showcases - live performances by previously selected artists - will take place at the Teatro Colón, located at Calle 10 #5-32.
