Resounding success at the Automotive Sector Trade and Services Fair in La Estanzuela

21 May 2025On May 9 and 10, 2025, the emblematic sector of La Estanzuela, in Bogota, was the setting for the Automotive Sector Trade and Services Fair, an event that brought together businessmen, businesswomen, traders and strategic allies of the Colombian automotive sector.

Organized by the Association of the Automotive Sector and its Parts (Asopartes) in commemoration of its 50 years of history, and in partnership with the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), the fair was held under the slogan #ÚneteALaLegalidad, with the aim of promoting the formalization, sustainable growth and competitiveness of micro and small companies in the sector.

The event was attended by institutional partners such as the Secretariat of Economic Development, Metro Línea 1, Colombia Vida, the Somos Llaves initiative and the CCB's Mobile Chamber, which offered business advice, support services and guidance for strengthening businesses. One of the highlights was the participation of the Tax and Customs Police (POLFA), which, as part of its strategy Zonas de Comercio Legal (Legal Trade Zones), led workshops to raise awareness and promote the formalization of the auto parts and spare parts trade, reaffirming the commitment to legality in the sector.

Since 2024, the CCB has been working closely with Asopartes through a joint roadmap that includes training, consulting and business services on issues such as supply chain security, marketing and good environmental practices. The purpose of this collaborative effort is to provide tools to strengthen the sector's business capabilities, promoting more competitive and sustainable business environments.

The fair not only represented a commercial platform for the automotive sector, but also a space for inter-institutional connection aimed at promoting formalization, sustainable growth and economic development in the region. From the Bogota Chamber of Commerce we reiterate our commitment to continue generating spaces that promote business transformation and the consolidation of formal, legal and prosperous businesses in Bogota and the region.
