The Bogota Chamber of Commerce and the Bolivar Davivienda Foundation, with the support of Starter Company, Hubspot for Startups, Amazon Web Services and other strategic allies of the ecosystem, seek to promote the generation of employment and the sustainability of enterprises and companies in Bogota and the region.
For this reason, they launched a new version of the Capital Raising Program aimed at entrepreneurs and businessmen through which entrepreneurs are prepared to raise resources before investors, through workshops and personalized mentoring.
Juan David Castaño, vice president of business strengthening of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce explained that "This is a process that allows Startups that are looking for accelerated growth, to achieve the achievement of a strategic ally or investor who will play a key role in the execution of expansion plans and consolidation of the venture in the market".
Those selected participate in a training process through personalized mentoring and workshops to raise capital that ends in the Demo Day with investors from the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and the Bolivar Davivienda Foundation.
The Capital Raising Program has 4 cycles during the year with which it is expected to impact more than 250 startups and enterprises, significantly increasing the possibility of effective investment in these companies.

How does it work?
Once selected, the Startup begins a training process of approximately 12 hours.
With the knowledge acquired, they participate in the Pitch Day, where an evaluation jury selects the best 10 to 15 companies that will be presented at the Demo Day, for which the selected companies have personalized mentoring that allows them to correct deficiencies and prepare themselves.
Demo Day. Event in which the Startups present their pitch in 3 minutes to national and international investors, ecosystem players and the general public.
Appointments with investors
After the presentations, appointments between entrepreneurs and investors are scheduled according to their selection.
