Mediation: A dispute resolution mechanism in which the parties request a third party or parties ("mediator"), to assist them in their attempt to reach an amicable settlement, of a dispute arising out of or in connection with a contractual or other legal relationship.
Conciliation in law: It is a tool to solve conflicts based on communication between the parties and the exchange of ideas to solve a difference. In this process the parties are accompanied by a third party expert called conciliator in law.
Support Agreements and Advance Directives: This is a service that seeks to enable people with disabilities to exercise their right to make decisions and to be respected in the execution of legal acts.
Short-form arbitration: This is a new mechanism that allows the resolution of disputes through arbitration in much more competitive times and at reduced costs.
Social arbitration: It is the alternative dispute resolution mechanism in which an arbitrator acts as judge of the controversy an arbitrator acts as judge of the controversy and is characterized for being FREE for those controversies whose amount does not exceed 40 SMLMV.

6. Amicable composition: It is an alternative dispute resolution mechanism (ADR), by virtue of which one or more individuals or a public entity authorizes a third party called "amiable compositeur" to definitively resolve their disputes.
