How can we help you?
La CCB

Continuing with the purpose to which the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) has contributed for 143 years to build a business fabric committed to the needs of society, we share our Eighth Sustainability Report, in which we collect the main achievements to operate in more equitable, competitive, inclusive and sustainable business environments.
In this report, we want to highlight our contribution to the fulfillment of the goals within the Sustainable Development Goals, but also to highlight the enormous potential of the private sector to solve the challenges posed in the 2030 Agenda that we have set as an international community.
To accompany companies in meeting the goals established in the seventeen SDGs, the CCB supported this effort through the Responsible Business Conduct Strategy. The objective of this strategy is to support the transformation of companies so that they not only structure a business model that generates wealth for their shareholders, but also have a favorable impact on their employees, communities and the environments in which they operate. Within this framework, multiple actions have been developed with a special focus on MSMEs, which make up 98% of our business fabric, to incorporate good sustainability practices that generate competitive advantages for their businesses.
Internally, the CCB approved its Sustainability and Shared Value Policy in 2019, and since then has been dedicated to transversalizing its incorporation in the different lines of work of the entity. Additionally, with this policy two fundamental commitments were established: the commitment to gender equity, diversity and inclusion, and the commitment to human rights and anti-corruption.
As a result of this work, progress has been made in sustainable management, which makes it possible to make visible, through this report, the efforts made in sustainability so that stakeholders know how the promise of value is fulfilled. Understanding sustainability at the core of its actions will continue to be a strategic objective of the entity, because through the policy and its commitments it reiterates its alignment with the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and the 2030 Agenda.
The CCB will continue to encourage companies to incorporate Responsible Business Conduct and to measure and make their efforts visible so that the private sector continues to be a key player in achieving more sustainable cities and communities.
