Bogota, February 1, 2024. The Board of Directors of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce elected in an ordinary meeting Dr. Roberto Robles Angel, representative of the National Government, as the new Chairman of the Board. Dr. Robles is a business administrator from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a lawyer from Universidad Agraria de Colombia.
He has a specialization in markets from Universidad de Los Andes, and has been commercial vice-president of Mercados Romi, president of the Board of Directors of Cooratiendas and vice-president of Club Deportivo Los Millonarios.
Dr. Alejandro Mejía, representative of the firm Asesoría de Negocios y Servicios S.A., was elected as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the CCB. Dr. Mejía is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia with a Master's Degree in Corporate Compliance from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and Fordham Law School, specialized in liability law and compensable damages from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
He also has a specialization in corruption and transnational crimes from the University of Salamanca.
