Bogotá, April 2026. The Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB) reaffirms its commitment to position the city-region as a strategic setting for global projection events that integrate sport, business and tourism. In alliance with the promoter All Star Boxing, the entity officially presented the fight that will mark the path of the Olympic medalist Yuberjen Martínez towards a world title opportunity.

This announcement continues the positioning achieved by the capital after the successful co-organization of the 38th WBO World Convention in 2025, consolidating Bogotá as a competitive city for attracting world-class shows.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, noted: "This meeting reflects the potential of sport as a platform for international projection and generation of opportunities. We want Bogotá to be a reliable destination for events that integrate talent and investment, becoming a development engine for our businessmen."

Duel of the undefeated

Olympic medalist Yuberjen Martínez made his fight against Panamanian Ángel Bethancourt official for the Next May 22 in Panama City. At stake will be the flyweight title Latino from the World Boxing Organization (WBO), in a fight agreed to 10 rounds that defines his rise in the world ranking.

“I have carried out a technical analysis of my rival and I arrived in my best physical condition to ensure this victory. This fight is not just mine, it is one more step towards the dream of giving him a title world to Colombia, and I hope that the entire country will accompany me on this path," assures Yuberjen Martínez

For his part, Félix “Tutico” Zabala Jr., president of All Star Boxing, highlighted the strength of the alliance with the CCB with the firm intention of turning Bogotá into the boxing capital of the country.

“It fills us satisfaction to strengthen Colombian boxing with the help of an ally strategic as the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. We deeply appreciate the leadership of Dr. Ovidio Claros, whose vision has been fundamental to materialize this fight,” said Félix “Tutico” Zabala.
