Bogotá, February 2025. The Chamber of Comercio de Bogotá (CCB) announced this Tuesday that during this year it projects impact 230,000 entrepreneurs, generate more than 590,000 opportunities commercial, 127% more than in 2025, and formalize more than 33,000 new companies.
These goals, among others, make up the 2026 roadmap drawn up by the entity and whose focus seeks to accelerate business growth, strengthen competitiveness regional and consolidate Bogotá–Region as a global business hub, innovation and culture.
Other essential commitment of the work arranged by the entity for this 2026 is the sectoral approach through clusters, an initiative that hopes to benefit more of 37,000 companies and entrepreneurs, and includes the creation of the Silver Economy, expanding the productive diversification of the region.
In matters of internationalization, eight trade missions will be carried out that will benefit to 110 companies, thus consolidating its presence in markets in America, Europe and Middle East. Additionally, 30 designers will participate on five platforms international fashion.
In terms of sustainability, The CCB will lead initiatives for the measurement and reduction of gas emissions greenhouse effect, carbon footprint audit and compensation corporate, and the positioning of a business sustainability ranking.
The platforms cultural and creative organizations (BAM, BOmm, BFW and ARTBO) project expectations of business exceeding USD 45 million, positioning Bogotá as the epicenter cultural and leading market in Latin America. EL BOmm, on its number anniversary 15, opens for the first time an international call for managers, bookers and artists, which confirms its status as one of the main markets for music in Latin America.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the CCB stated that “With the results obtained during 2025 and the goals set for 2026, we ratify our commitment to development sustainable economic, business formalization, competitiveness and international projection of Bogotá and Cundinamarca. This year we will redouble efforts and we will continue working with absolute determination to consolidate Bogotá–Region as the best place to create and grow a company.”
Results 2025
2025 closed with a total of 493,825 companies were registered in the jurisdiction of the CCB active in 2025, which represents a growth of 2% compared to 2024. These, 99.3% are MSMEs, ratifying the fundamental role of these companies in the regional economy. Likewise, 83,158 new companies, a figure that represented an increase of 6.2% compared to the previous year.
During 2025, the CCB consolidated Bogotá as a center for global events, promoted the reindustrialization, strengthened the business fabric and advanced in the technological modernization of its services.
In sectoral matters, more than 35,000 companies and entrepreneurs benefited from the services of the 19 active clusters, and more than 6,871 companies were impacted depth. In addition, four new strategic clusters were created and progressed in the construction of Campus 2600 of Science, Technology and Innovation.
In internationalization, More than 800 businessmen participated in international summits, They made 3,500 business appointments with expectations higher than USD 40 million, and 59 companies participated in trade missions with expectations for USD 16 million.
In cultural industries and creative, cultural platforms achieved a business expectation of USD 44,309,930, benefiting thousands of companies and positioning Bogotá as a strategic cultural epicenter.
