Gastrofest opens call to identify the jewels gastronomic of Bogotá and Cundinamarca in 2026

Bogotá, April 7, 2026. The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), through the Security Cluster Alimentaria, has the call open for Gastrofest 2026, an initiative aimed at strengthening business capabilities, promoting strategic differentiation and expand the visibility of establishments gastronomic dishes of Bogotá and Cundinamarca.

With this call, the CCB look for the gems of the region's gastronomy: restaurants, breweries, cafes and bakeries, pastry shops, confectioneries or chocolate shops with gastronomic projects with history and charm that not everyone knows yet, but that reflect authenticity of the city and the region and the use of local ingredients. The initiative It is part of the strategy to strengthen the business fabric of the gastronomic sector, promoting its sophistication, sustainability and connection with higher value markets.

Strengthening platform business

The application will be open until on April 30, 2026. After the closing of the call, up to 220 establishments will be preselected to receive up to four hours of individual accompaniment specialized in gastronomic product. This process will be focused on strengthening the value proposition, the narrative of the dish or postulated product and differentiation in the market.

The application does not guarantee the preselection or final participation in the components of Gastrofest 2026. Subsequently, an external curator team, under technical and strategic, will select 81 establishments for the scenarios of program visibility.

Who can participate?

The call is aimed at gastronomic entrepreneurs who:

• Are registered in the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.

• Have an establishment open to public or are craft beer producers.

• Have at least one social network active or web page.

• Nominate a dish or product individual that highlights the use of local ingredients.

• Complete the entire registration form.

Additional points will be awarded to those who belong to the Circle of Affiliates of the CCB and have Registration National Tourism (RNT).

Evaluation criteria

The curatorship will evaluate aspects related to the value offer, the differentiating factor and the narrative of the dish or product. Likewise, the use of local ingredients will be analyzed, the level of innovation, the strengthening of business skills, the experience in establishing and digital maturity.

They will also be taken into account sustainability practices, including food safety, waste management, energy efficiency and water management; as well as its relationship with local markets and their territorial identity.

These criteria seek to promote a more competitive gastronomic sector, aligned with quality standards, sustainability and regional coordination.

Strategic scenarios Gastrofest

The establishments Selected candidates may participate in one or more of the following components:

1. Accompaniment. About 220 establishments will receive personalized support for their establishments.

2. Visibility. They will be selected through an external curatorship to 81 gastronomic establishments or producers of beer that will receive extra visibility and will be part of the Gastrofest directory 2026. 21 establishments in the cooking contest and 60 that will be part of 1 of the 3 Gastrofest territories.

With the Contest of Kitchen 21 companies will be able participate in a cooking competition in August 2026 that will be judged by expert juries. Up to 21 will be awarded in a ceremony (event) establishments that compete and will receive additional promotion.

3. Business. They will be able to have a boost to their sales of establishments that participate in:

• Territories Gastrofest: Up to 60 establishments will be part of gastronomic routes massively promoted, where the public will live the experience in their premises during September 2026.

• Festival Gastrofest – Home Fair 2026: 12 establishments or producers will participate from September 3 to 20, 2026 in the central event, expanding its exposure to consumers and strategic allies.
