  • This participation is part of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce's commitment to internationalizing the creative talent of fashion sector companies through the [PUENTE] Internacional program.

  • This year, [PUENTE] Internacional has scheduled the participation of Bogotá fashion leaders in global events such as Bogotá Fashion Week – [PUENTE] Collective Runway; Madrid Runway; Dubai Fashion Week; New York Fashion Week (Spring/Summer); and Paris Fashion Week.

Bogotá, February 2026. To increase visibility, drive global positioning, strengthen commercial ties, and establish strategic alliances, eight Bogotá brands from the popular fashion sector will present their Fall/Winter collections on the Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA) runway from February 13 to 16, held during New York Fashion Week 2026.

The selection includes apparel brands Alanna, A Modo Mio, C’emadier, Más Cincuenta y Siete by Love Me Jeans, Lorant & Co, and Lyenzo, alongside footwear brands Liza Herrera and Kernel Leather.

Their participation is framed within [PUENTE] Internacional, an initiative by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) that promotes the internationalization of the city’s creative and business talent, connecting popular and emerging fashion entrepreneurs with global circuits.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, President of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, stated: "We are committed to the internationalization of Bogotá’s popular fashion because it is a powerful vehicle for economic growth and job creation. We are boosting the participation of these eight brands in the FDLA runway at New York Fashion Week following a meticulous curation process conducted by top-level national and international experts, ensuring that the best of our capital’s fashion talent arrives strong in the 'Big Apple'."

He added that "this will not only benefit the eight participating brands—which will undoubtedly advance in competitiveness and positioning—but will also consolidate the prestige that Colombian fashion enjoys abroad thanks to its creativity and the quality of its designs."

The curation and mentorship were led by Albania Rosario, founder and president of FDLA; José Forteza, former senior editor of Vogue Mexico; Luis Sánchez, co-founder of Ideas Publishing Group; renowned Colombian designer Jorge Duque; and curator and styling director Estefanía Turbay.

Albania Rosario remarked: "It has been a privilege and a deeply inspiring experience to curate a selection of such talented and creative brands. Each of these firms represents not only the excellence of Bogotá design but also the resilient and visionary spirit of our creative community. Seeing their passion and dedication reflected in every collection is a reminder of the transformative power of Latin American fashion on the global stage."

The Impact of [PUENTE]

Since last year, [PUENTE] has been achieving significant milestones. Through this program, in September 2025, 13 designers from Bogotá’s bustling San Victorino and Restrepo sectors participated in two of the world's most relevant fashion stages: New York Fashion Week – FDLA and MOMAD Madrid.

2026 International Agenda

Following the Fall/Winter presentation this February, [PUENTE] Internacional has scheduled a robust agenda for the remainder of the year, bringing Bogotá’s popular fashion leaders to some of the world’s most important runways:

Bogotá Fashion Week – [PUENTE] Collective Runway: May 12–14

Madrid Runway: May 18–21

Dubai Fashion Week (Spring/Summer): September 1–6

New York Fashion Week (Spring/Summer): September 11–16

Paris Fashion Week (Spring/Summer): September 28 – October 6

The presence of popular economy companies in globally recognized venues is part of a strategic institutional push by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, which includes initiatives such as Bogotá Fashion Week, Bogotá Fashion Weekend, San Victorino a la Moda, and Talento al Parque, among others.
