Bogotá, February 25 2026. Bogotá prepares to receive the main industry actors at the 45th edition of the ANATO Tourist Showcase, the most important professional relations meeting in the sector in America Latina. From February 25 to 27, Corferias will be the setting where the Office Bogotá Tourism Board will lead a strategic agenda designed to expand the city borders and attract new investments and visitors.

This edition will bring important new features: for the first time, the fair will occupy the entire fairground, with the Great Hall dedicated exclusively to the international offer and renovated spaces that will strengthen the experience of the visitors. The Bogotá stand will be located in pavilion 3, second Corferias floor, and will have – also for the first time – a bar gastronomy designed to make visible the wealth of the city through its offer of coffee, traditional cuisine and contemporary proposals.

After the successful closing of the call to participate in the Tourist Showcase of Anato 2026, 60 businessmen were selected who will be present during the three days of the fair at the work tables of the Bogotá stand, where They will present to the world the best of the capital's tourist offer.

On the impact that this participation will have on the business fabric of the city-region, the executive president of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, Ovidio Claros Polanco, highlighted: “From the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce We continue to bet on tourism as an engine of economic development and generation of employment for the city-region.

Our participation in the Tourist Showcase of ANATO, together with the District Tourism Institute, allows 60 companies, in mostly MSMEs, access real business opportunities and new markets. With this action we reaffirm our commitment to position Bogotá as a competitive, sustainable and innovative destination, and to continue articulating the sector to strengthen its offer and its international projection.”

Additionally, Within the framework of the ANATO Capacita initiative, in its Tech version, the training of more than 2,000 entrepreneurs in digital marketing trends and innovation, thus strengthening the competitiveness of the sector.

Alliances international and brotherhood agreements

As the central axis of its internationalization, Bogotá will formalize agreements of brotherhood through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding with the city of Valle del Cauca, Colombia and with the cities of Monterrey and Jalisco in Mexico. These agreements seek to strengthen multi-destination tourism and cultural exchange with the cities of the world.

In this edition of Anato 2026, the Mexican Caribbean will beGuest of Honor. According to Bulletin of Tourism Figures, period November - December 2025 of the Tourism Observatory of Bogotá, the capital received 1.9 million visitors in 2025 and Mexico is among the main countries tourist emitters, attracted by the tourist, business and event offer mainly.

On the other hand, according to the Survey Quarterly ANATO – ETA, Mexico was ranked among the top 3 destinations most marketed international flightsby the Associated Travel Agencies, with a participation of 15.8%, only surpassed by Spain and the Republic Dominican.

According to figures of the National Migration Institute of Mexico, between January and September 2025, 224,411 passengers traveled from Colombia to Cancún, one of the main destinations of the Mexican Caribbean.

Connectivity milestones: new frequency with Quebec - Canada

In a decisive step for the city's connectivity, the official launch of the new Quebec-Bogotá frequency together with Air Canada. This new strategic connection facilitates the flow of travelers with the market Canadian, opening opportunities for business, educational and vacation tourism, reaffirming Bogotá as the main entry hub to South America.

Innovation and competitiveness at the Bogotá Stand

The participation of the capital through the Bogotá stand will allow position an offer that integrates culture, health and technology, where will present to attendees the most significant advances in the sector such as:

Tourist Destination Intelligent - DTI: recertification will be presented international award granted by SEGITTUR, highlighting the management of the city under innovation and sustainability standards.

Stopover Strategy: this strategy that was launched in conjunction with Avianca, will be promoted to through the campaign "Bogotá, the gateway to the country of beauty", to transform air stopovers into real stays.

Specialized offer: The official launch of the offer of health tourism with SURA, as part of the strategy “Bogotá, destination of health tourism.”

Likewise, at the Bogotá stand there will be a permanent presence making allusion to Bogotá, the world capital of the bicycle and the launch of the Sports Calendar 2026 together with the IDRD, as the main tool for positioning of the city as a sports tourism destination.

The new Accessible Tourism Guide will also be presented, a tool fundamental for the positioning of the city as a tourist destination inclusive.

Local experiences and technology

The stand will be a living space where the 20 locations will show their wealth through interactive experiences. Attendees will be able to enjoy the interaction with artificial intelligence for the promotion of Engativá, and the cultural offer of towns such as Bosa, Kennedy and Rafael Uribe, among others, in addition to the innovation laboratories under the “Bacatá” concept; the stand will become an immersive tour of three stations that combine narrative, game and technology to strengthen the emotional connection with the city.

With its presence at ANATO 2026, the Bogotá Tourism Office ratifies its commitment to strengthening the entire value chain, consolidating Bogotá as a world-class, inclusive and deeply connected destination with international markets.
