Bogotá-Region reaffirms its leadership by concentrating more than 33% of the fashion market in Colombia and thousands of jobs in the sector.
Bogotá, April 2026. Fashion returns to light up the capital and the entire city-region. From May 12 to 14, the ninth edition of Bogotá Fashion Week will transform Bogotá into the great creative and business epicenter of Latin America, consolidating the city and its region as a strategic platform for independent design, innovation and the internationalization of Colombian talent.
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, the program will bring together at its central event, in Ágora Bogotá – Convention Center, to 145 independent brands and designers, national and international buyers, leaders and professionals of the industry, specialized media and thousands of visitors who will spend three days where creativity, business and culture meet.
The making of Bogotá Fashion Week also strengthens the economic dynamics of Bogotá-Region, by mobilize value chains associated with tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, transportation, commerce and creative services, benefiting companies and entrepreneurs from different nearby municipalities.
Bogotá-Region leads the fashion industry
The capital concentrates more 33% of the fashion market in Colombia, has more than 32,000 companies active in the sector and generates more than 200 thousand direct jobs, figures that They ratify Bogotá as the main engine of this industry in the country.
In articulation with the region, this ecosystem integrates capabilities in manufacturing, supply, logistics, distribution and human talent, strengthening the competitiveness of the fashion system and expanding growth opportunities for companies throughout the city-region.
In this context, Bogotá Fashion Week is consolidated as much more than a fashion week: it is a business growth platform that connects local talent with global opportunities.
Gateway agenda: creativity on stage
The 2026 edition will feature with 28 catwalks in which 44 selected brands will participate, presenting proposals that reflect innovation, identity, sustainability and new narratives of Colombian design. Each parade will be an opportunity to showcase the country's creative potential to buyers, specialized press and international guests.
The return to the catwalk of Kika Vargas, –finalist of the LVMH Prize, collaborator with Target and presence in more than 30 luxury retailers–, who will inaugurate the event, confirms the historic moment that Colombian fashion is experiencing and the growing positioning of Bogotá as a regional creative reference.
Wholesale: businesses that connect with the world
One of the pillars of Bogotá Fashion Week will be the business roundtable - Wholesale, which will bring together more than 80 interested national and international buyers in identifying new brands, expanding portfolios and generating alliances commercials.
This space seeks accelerate internationalization processes, open new markets and strengthen the sustainable growth of participating designers and entrepreneurs. Your architecture integrates prior preparation, connection prioritization, activation directed and execution of agendas, so that each interaction responds to a strategic crossing between supply and demand.

The academic agenda will include24 conversations and meetings with more than 60 relevant guests of the industry, between designers, entrepreneurs, experts, media and leaders of opinion.
These spaces will address global trends, sustainability, conscious consumption, innovation, branding, new business models and the challenges of contemporary fashion.
Fashion for everyone: multi-brand store and experiences
The event will also feature with a multi-brand store open to the public, where attendees will be able to discover and purchase products from participating designers, bringing national talent to the final consumer.
The experience is will be complemented with networking spaces, brand activations, gastronomy and meetings that will turn Bogotá into a city focused on fashion for three days.
Training to grow: Fashion Lab
Participating brands They arrive after a specialized training process of more than 720 hours, aimed at strengthening product, commercial strategy, brand narrative and internationalization, ratifying the program's commitment to development business of the sector.
