Bogotá. June 2025. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) is pleased to announce that, after a rigorous selection process through public bidding, the project's Fiduciary Committee awarded the contracts for the comprehensive construction management, supervision and construction of Phase 1A of the Headquarters Building of the Science, Technology and Innovation Campus of Bogota Region - CTIB.

The award formalizes the start of the execution of Phase 1A, which includes the essential tasks of foundations and construction of the CTIB headquarters building. This campus, a strategic and structural bet, led by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) together with Corferias, the Mayor's Office of Bogota, through the District Secretariat of Economic Development and Atenea, Compensar, CAFAM, Colsubsidio and SENA, aims to become a node of excellence in knowledge for the development of projects in science, technology and innovation, strengthening the competitiveness of the business ecosystem in Bogota and the region.

The Science and Innovation Consortium will be responsible for coordinating the execution of the works under a comprehensive approach, from planning to delivery.

The Alianza CCB Consortium will be responsible for the auditing, ensuring compliance with the technical specifications, the schedule and the applicable regulations.

The Cámara Bogotá 2025 Consortium will be responsible for the physical construction of the building, which will last approximately 40 months

These teams will work together to create a modern, sustainable and technologically advanced space.

The Bogota Chamber of Commerce highlights the transparency and legality of the procedure, carried out through public calls and objective evaluations. This progress reaffirms the efforts to promote scientific and technological infrastructure to boost regional productivity and talent training, and marks the milestone of the beginning of Phase 1A of the CTIB, an emblematic work that will strengthen innovation in Bogota and its region and position the city as a national and regional reference in science and technology.

Characteristics of the first Science, Technology and Innovation Campus building

The headquarters building of the Science, Technology and Innovation Campus of Bogota (CTIB) will have 23 floors and an approximate area of 44,000 m², and is the first phase of the project that will cover a total of 247 hectares in the Corferias area, between Puente Aranda and Teusaquillo.

It is designed with a state-of-the-art infrastructure conducive to generating connection of the science, technology and innovation ecosystem, favoring the urban renewal of Bogota and Cundinamarca, as well as the generation of spaces for the enjoyment, interaction and well-being of citizens.

The tower will house flexible offices, coworking spaces, laboratories specialized in science and technology, wellness and commercial areas, as well as an observatory and training areas.

In the coming weeks we will experience a milestone for the city: the groundbreaking event for the Bogotá Science, Technology and Innovation Campus. A unique space that will begin to take shape to connect knowledge, talent and the future.
