Therefore, tourism lovers have a must to know all the plans that can be enjoyed as a couple, with family or friends and find options for all budgets.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, stated that “With this initiative we seek to create spaces for the promotion of businesses in the tourism production chain in the department of Cundinamarca, from the smallest to the most consolidated of an ecosystem that is gaining more and more strength”.
Vitritur 2024 will have exhibitors and business consultants from the public and private sector, and an academic and cultural agenda to show that tourism in Cundinamarca is an excellent productive bet.
Among the participants will be guilds, travel agencies, tourist homes, tourist farms (rural accommodation), tour guides, Glamping, among others who will be present to showcase their offer and do business.

Tourism in numbers
In the municipalities under the jurisdiction of the CCB there are an estimated 2,859 tourism companies, representing 37.5% of the total number of tourism companies in the department. This is a sector that represents a large part of the region's economic movement. Tourist dwellings are the predominant category in the municipalities where the CCB has jurisdiction, with 53.11% of the registrations, followed by tourist lodging establishments (17.19%) and travel agencies (15.06%).
Categories with lower representation, such as timeshare and timeshare companies, and concessionaires of tourism services in parks, have only one registration each. This suggests an opportunity to diversify and strengthen other areas of the tourism sector that are currently underrepresented.
