Vitritur 2023, the tourism fair that promotes the economic and social development of the region, arrives

25 May 2023-The meeting seeks to connect the supply and demand of tourism services and products of Sabana Centro (Bogota-Cundinamarca) through business spaces, consultancies, in addition to an academic and cultural agenda.
-Attendees from all the territories of the Central Region will be able to learn about the services offered by more than 80 companies of the tourism sector that will be present.

Bogotá, D. C., May 25, 2023. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce, together with the Departmental Institute of Culture and Tourism of Cundinamarca (IDECUT), the District Institute of Tourism (IDT), the Administrative and Special Planning Region (RAP-E), the 11 Mayors' Offices of Sabana Centro, Asocentro, and the Jaime Duque Park, join inter-institutional efforts to promote business in the tourism production chain in Sabana Centro, through Vitritur 2023.

This scenario is ideal for the tourism sector of this area of the country, to establish ties with other territories, to know and offer novelties, to do business, to have business consultancies and to strengthen the productive bet of the companies.

Ana Fergusson, vice-president of Public-Private Articulation of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce stated that "This will be an event to make the supply visible, connect the demand and show the progress in strengthening and competitiveness of the territory. There we will meet with 80 exhibitors and 20 business consultants from the public and private sector, ready to solve all the doubts they have about how to make a tourism company".

Similarly, Diego Daza Holguín, coordinator of the Competitiveness and International Projection axis of the RAP-E Central Region, reiterated the importance of generating this type of spaces in favor of tourism in the region. "We join the invitation made by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota for entrepreneurs, businessmen and all those interested in the tourism sector, to participate in this showcase where participants can interact with actors who are developing innovative goods and services companies, aimed at strengthening this sector," he said.

The meeting, which will be held on May 31 at the Jaime Duque Park (Tocancipá), half an hour from Bogotá, will include an academic and cultural agenda to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourism sector in the Central Region.
