Last days of call for women entrepreneurs with technology-based businesses to receive mentoring

16 August 2022- On August 31, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce closes the call for Women TECH, an acceleration program that seeks to achieve accelerated growth and market expansion of high-impact startups.
- Startups led by women (CEO or first level management staff) can participate through mentoring and workshops on various topics with a framework oriented to Lean methodologies and design thinking applied to business.

In order to provide tools to women who have technology-based startups in any sector, and allow them to achieve accelerated growth and expand their markets, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce opened a new call for the accelerator Mujeres TECH.

This initiative allows those selected to achieve growth of their business and their network of contacts, improve design and user experience, technological expansion, and preparation to get a possible investment, among other benefits.

Among the requirements that the companies must meet is that they must be led by women with ventures that must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 years of continuous operation in the market, that have reported sales of more than 250 million in 2021, demonstrate growth during the time of operation and have a team that includes at least those responsible for: technology, marketing, administrative and financial. Companies whose business model has a digital component. Likewise, they must be registered with the CCB and have renewed their commercial registration by 2022. Nicolás Uribe Rueda, president of the CCB, said that "This initiative is part of the entity's commitment to gender equity and becomes a great opportunity for women where they will be accompanied for three months by experts that will allow their businesses to achieve exponential growth and take their companies to another level".

Main benefits Among the benefits of accessing this accelerator are access to markets and the right clients; adjusting the company's strategy, sales and marketing; achieving an efficient approach to business development and opportunities; improving its financial structure and pitch deck; achieving adequate access to financing; developing exponential thinking; innovation and technology focused on the client; prototype design, user experience and product design; and expanding the network of contacts.
