Young people, protagonists of the GoFest

02 June 2022- This year, as part of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce's GoFest Entrepreneurship Festival, more than 80 entrepreneurs will be present at the XVII Young Entrepreneurs Fair offering innovative and value-added products and services.
- Entrepreneurs who have received support from the CCB and are seeking capital will present their projects through a pitch to investors at the Demo Day to be held on Friday 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This year, in the framework of GoFest, attendees will have the opportunity to meet more than 80 entrepreneurs who offer products and services of the highest quality. Between June 15 and 17 at the Young Entrepreneurs Fair there will be a diverse offer in gastronomy, technology, jewelry, fashion, health and beauty, home, decoration, accessories, among others.

In this edition will be participating young people who sell their products on the virtual platform of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota: Bazzarbog, as well as participants of programs such as the "Route of Accompaniment of the CCB" and "Entrepreneurship for Productive Inclusion" and entrepreneurs who signed up to participate.

The CCB opens spaces such as the Young Entrepreneurs Fair to support the arduous task of selling their products, making themselves known, and also offers them support in strengthening processes in financial, tax, marketing and strategy issues, through workshops and counseling. The Young Entrepreneurs Fair serves as an inspiration for GoFest attendees to learn first-hand about multiple ventures in various sectors that encourage them to take the plunge and start their own business.

In addition, on Friday, June 17, the Demo Day will be held in partnership with the Bolivar Davivienda Foundation, a space in which 16 entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with investors, who will help them to scale their plans and consolidate markets through the injection of capital in these Startups with high growth potential and disruptive business models. It is worth noting that the Capital Raising Program has 4 cycles during the year with which it is expected to impact more than 1,000 startups and ventures, significantly increasing the possibility of effective investment in these companies. In the last two years, the startups that were formed in the Program have obtained resources close to $2 billion, more than 260 appointments with potential investors and high-value networking that leveraged their exponential growth. In addition, 1,200 companies were trained in specialized knowledge on capital raising, investment pitch construction and legal aspects to be taken into account when negotiating with investors. Some of the companies you can visit at GOfest are 1. HONNE: produces and markets innovative intimate garments with properties of plants such as calendula, Aloe vera, lavender, seaweed and vitamin E, for intimate care. 2. BIGO SAFE: among its products is a luminous signaling device controlled by head movements for cyclists, motorcyclists and electric scooter users that helps prevent road accidents, making the user of this signaling device more visible on the roads. 3. GRÜN PRODUCTS: is an initiative dedicated to the use of paper and reduce the use of plastic, improving the working conditions of vulnerable populations to transform the writing industry in a circular process, through the manufacture of different products, including pencils and colors. 4. GROWBUILDING CONSTRUCCIÓN SOSTENIBLE: company that transforms plastic into furniture and functional construction for the decoration of different spaces. 5. BASILISCO: company that produces and commercializes boots made of sustainable materials, such as car and airplane tire rubber and vegetable leather. 6. MIDA CHOCOLATL: chocolates filled with different flavors including collagen filling.
