The week arrives with more innovation, creativity and the best of new technologies for entrepreneurs

04 April 2022- The Bogota Chamber of Commerce and iNNpulsa Colombia's Innovation Week will be held from April 19 to 22, a virtual space to learn about the opportunities that new technologies offer to companies and entrepreneurship in Bogota and Colombia.
- With a series of talks and discussions, the national entrepreneurship ecosystem will be able to interact with experts in innovation, artificial intelligence, crypto-assets, disruption, among others, to understand how to implement them in their companies.

As part of the World Creativity and Innovation Day, commemorated by the United Nations every April 21, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and iNNpulsa Colombia invite the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city and the country to the Innovation Week, a four-day virtual space to learn from those who take risks to do things differently and how experiences of success and failure promote creativity.

It will be an agenda that will take place from April 19 to 22, where participants will be able to attend free and virtual talks with international guests such as SingularityU_Colombia, Qmax Consulting Group, Wazoku, BlackSHIIP, Wayra Latam among others, to discuss topics such as disruption in the tourism and retail sector, the use of Creative Commons licenses, the ABC of Corporate Venturing, crypto-assets and the power of creativity. Likewise, those who register will be able to interact with the tools to promote innovation offered by InnovalabCCB for companies and entrepreneurships, as well as the support provided by iNNpulsa Colombia through its CEmprende initiative for this audience. Nicolás Uribe Rueda, president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, invited innovation leaders, students of STEM careers or careers related to business administration and in general all those interested in how to innovate in their companies, to participate in the Innovation Week. "This is a week so that, from experimentation and knowledge, participants can obtain tools to apply innovation as a formula for business growth".

On the other hand, Francisco Noguera, president of iNNpulsa Colombia highlighted the importance of innovation processes in strengthening the business fabric in the country. "This is a week to highlight that in Colombia we are experiencing a transformation of the entrepreneurial and business ecosystem hand in hand, to a large extent, with the adoption of innovation as an organizational culture and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that put the country's companies in the spotlight of the region, also thanks to the support of the National Government, the private sector and academia".

Open innovation as a way to manage innovation, advantages of collaboration and its challenges. Participants: Juliana Gómez, Coordinator of Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation at Connect Bogotá. From 04:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the SDGs (First Session April 20, Second Session April 21) Collaborative ideation space that seeks to have different visions to discuss and co-create on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the SDGs. Thursday, April 21: 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The ABC of corporate investment. We will discuss how corporations bet on boosting innovation processes through direct connection with entrepreneurs and startups, which allows them to capture talent, technology and new business models. Participants: Wayra Latam, Invest In Bogota, BlackSHIIP, Weseed and Newtopia. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 m. The Creative Power: Overcoming daily challenges. This session will provide practical tools to activate and increase creative power on a daily basis. Juan Builes, industrial designer and Alejandro Álvarez, industrial designer and Master in Creativity and Innovation. From 03:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. Detonating your future thinking: What is a future-bearing fact, what are the laws of the future, how can we use the information available in the system to visualize possible futures and make strategic decisions? These are the questions that will be addressed. Participants: Karla Paniagua, coordinator of the Futures Studies area at CENTRO, a Mexican higher education institution specialized in the Creative Economy. From 05:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m. Cryptoassets as an opportunity for innovation in business models. Learn about the vision of cryptoassets from the perspective of the regulator, Fintech companies and companies from other sectors. Friday, April 22: From 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Female superpowers in the business world. Diana Guerrero, director of Cenisoft - Centro de Innovación de Fedesoft, will participate in this event, with the importance of the role of women in engineering and technology. Then we will have three conversations facilitated by empowered women and referents in the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation. From 03:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m. National Speed Dating. Innovation Week ends with a space to consolidate the network of contacts by talking with entrepreneurs nationwide. A space led by CEmprende and Innovalab CCB.
