Bogota, January 23, 2025. Bogota Music Market -BOmm-, a promotion and circulation program for the music sector of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), opens its calls for musical projects, representation agencies and managers with roster until April 20, 2025. Since 2012, the BOmm has connected creators, entrepreneurs and institutions of the Colombian music ecosystem with their peers from around the world and has positioned itself as a fundamental meeting point for the Latin American music ecosystem and the promotion of business in the sector.

Interested musical projects may register by completing a form in which they can highlight their trajectory, outstanding achievements and attach audiovisual media. This step is essential for those who wish to be considered for the Showcases (live presentations), a space where they will have the opportunity to present their artistic proposal in front of international programmers, among others. On the other hand, representation agencies and managers with a roster must detail their artists' catalog and their commercial strategies, participating in the Live Music Circulation Business Roundtable and the Agents and Services Roundtable.

- Form for musical projects: soloists, groups or bands of any musical genre with at least two years of proven track record.

- Form for representation agencies and managers with roster: organizations and individuals based in Colombia with at least two years of experience and a minimum of two groups in their portfolio.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce stated that “Year after year, the Bogota Music Market has become a key driver for the emerging talent of Colombian music, strengthening an industry as relevant as the music industry and mobilizing its economy. This year will be no exception: we remain committed to projecting our talent to the world and to energizing this creative sector that is so vital for the country”.

For her part, María Paz Gaviria, Manager of Cultural Programs at the CCB, said that “During its 13 editions, the BOmm has positioned itself as a key connection and business platform for Colombian music, the industry and its agents; in 2025 we will continue working to consolidate our commitment to live music, strengthen commercial ties through specialized business rounds and provide visibility to the new emerging music scenes in Colombia”.

A committee of experts will evaluate the applications, considering aspects such as artistic and technical quality, trajectory, commercial potential and proposed market strategies. The results will be announced in June, and the market will be held from September 9 to 12, 2025.

The last edition of BOmm had 2,100 business appointments and business expectations of more than USD 2,200,000, as well as the participation of more than 7,000 attendees during the 5-day event.

BOmm 2025 is emerging as an opportunity for artists and entrepreneurs in the music sector who seek to project themselves in the global market, strengthen their business networks and contribute to the growth of the country's creative economy.
