Bogota, July 13 2023. The Chamber of Commerce of Bogota (CCB) opens the doors of its Chapinero headquarters so that next Saturday, July 29, the more than 173,000 inhabitants of the locality can access free advice on conflict resolution such as horizontal property and coexistence with neighbors, among others; and advice on personal finances. In addition, the CCB will have a farmer's market for which 22 local businesses and enterprises have been invited to present their offerings of fruits, vegetables and processed products for the enjoyment of the community.
The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Chapinero Business Center and Headquarters located at Calle 67 # 8-32.
María Isabel Vega, Customer Relationship Manager of the CCB, states that "this initiative is part of the program Headquarters Open to the Community with which the entity seeks to generate greater proximity with the localities and municipalities in which it is present, offering spaces of experience that respond to the productive vocation and the needs of its areas of influence to achieve a better connection with the entrepreneurs of Bogotá and the 59 municipalities under the jurisdiction of the CCB in Cundinamarca".
The program has already provided similar spaces in the localities of Kennedy and Centro and in the municipalities of Soacha and Fusagasugá.
The business fabric of Chapinero has already surpassed its pre-pandemic registration.
According to data from the commercial registry, administered by the CCB, Chapinero is home to 10% of the active companies in Bogota, with a total of 36,677 companies between January and June 2023. This data reflects the recovery of the business fabric of the locality that today exceeds by 1% the number of active companies in 2019, the year prior to the pandemic, and exceeds by 8% the total number of companies registered for the same period of 2021, the year in which the business reactivation process began. Chapinero is the third locality with the highest number of businesses in the capital after Suba and Usaquén.
