Bogotá D. C., August 11, 2026. The Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB), headed by its President, Dr. Enrique Vargas Lleras and the Executive President, Dr. Ovidio Claros Polanco, express their solidarity with families, communities, businessmen and merchants affected by the earthquake recorded on August 10.

As an expression of his commitment to the country and to the communities that face this situation today, The CCB will make a financial contribution to support the care of needs derived from this emergency in Cali, Pereira, Manizales, Quibdó and Bahía Solano, in accordance with the priorities defined by the National Government and the entities responsible for risk management.

The contribution will be channeled through the mechanisms established by the National Government, with the purpose of adding efforts to the institutional response and contributing to timely attention to affected people and communities.
